Lift Compliance Services
Stay on-track with lift compliance procedures with a qualified lift engineer. If you are a property owner or manager, you are responsible for the maintenance of the lift(s). Don’t take the risk – book an assessment today with one of our fully qualified lift engineers across the UK.
All workplace lifts are subject to the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), as directed by HSE. If you fail to keep up with your LOLER inspections, or other compliance procedures, you may breach health and safety regulations and put your staff at risk.
Lift Requirements and PUWER
Along with LOLER, commercial property owners should be aware of Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER) and how this relates to lift safety and compliance. PUWER covers a much broader area of commercial health and safety, including ensuring equipment is safe for its intended use and maintained in a safe condition.
SAFed supplementary testing of in-service lifts
At Rise Elevator, we are also equipped to carry out SAFed testing of in-service lifts. Typically, the supplementary tests are carried out in preparation for the full LOLER inspection, which we can also complete.
Although SAFed notes are guidance, where LOLER is a legal requirement, we strongly recommend you arrange supplementary tests to ensure maximum safety and efficiency when it comes to commercial lifts. Book your SAFed supplementary test with Rise Elevator today.
